Default Turbocat to menorca

Hi
We are staying in PP in august. We are thinking about a day trip to Mahon on the fast ferry. I've tried to do some research on the web but without much luck, most of the websites calendars don't seem to fully work up to august. Can anybody help?
We have an almost 3 year old. Does anybody think it will be too long a day for her?
Many thanks in advance!

Try having a look at Majorca tours- Excursions, trips, tours in Mallorca. I'm pretty sure they do trips to Menorca.

If not, they may be able to help you.

Booble you could also call into one of the Travel Agents when you are here and get them to arrange it for you.

Smile Hydrofoil To Menorca

The only fast ferry that I know of is the Hydrofoil that goes from Cala Ratjada to Menorca.
I think that the company are called "Interilles"

The trip from Cala Ratjada takes about 60 minutes.

I hope this is useful.

If this is the case, then I will stop contributing to the discussion forum.
I have tried over the years to help people enjoy their visits to Puerto Pollensa and to Mallorca.

You have managed to limit my contributions to help people who make a financial contribution to puertopollensa.com

There is more to life than money.

Mallorca is a beautiful island. Puerto Pollensa has enormous potential (still!)
but I refuse to be limited to making reference only to people who have paid to advertise on the web-site.

Thanks for the friends I have made, and thanks for the many personal responses to my contributions.

Goodbye.

Frito.

That is such a same Frito....you have been a wealth of information and I have always enjoyed reading your very informative posts.

There has been lots of website links on the "Excursion Out & About in Majorca" thread in the past that don't actually advertise on the Forum, that have been very useful to members, maybe that is where the confusion lies.....maybe thought they were actually permitted on this particular thread Frito. Please do continue with your posts.

Booble you don't need to apologise.

Frito nobody is saying that you can't suggest other websites, it is the direct links that are not allowed. So please do continue with your very informative posts.

Hi Booble, try the Balearia.com site they run fast ferries (turbos) out of Alcudia, it takes an hour but goes into Ciutadella, if you want to visit mahon then you would need to take a bus or hire a car. The other services mentioned are now non operational, I believe since the Balearia ervice started, it may be a long day for your child but check the service times on their site as they change throughout the year, the service actually goes to Barcelona after Menorca then picks up in Ciutadella on the return to Alcudia and the times do change. I trust that you will be allowed to read this.

Booble, I forgot to say that you can book direct with them at their office in Alcudia, of course I cannot give you their number as I do not think they advertise on this site, they have an English girl working at the office so no problem if you do not speak Spanish. I am sure you know how to get the number.
