Caves of Drach

Does anyone know how long you have to wait to get in if you arrive for the 1000 am tour? Would we be OK to get there are around 0930 or should we come earlier. I have read there is usually a long wait.

I don't think you'll have to wait too long if you go early.
We went here years ago, and it was great but a few weeks back we went to The Caves of Hamm and although they are smaller, they are very good. Same kind of thing with the music played from rowing boat on candle lit lake etc, but not nearly as crowded.

Went there in June 2004 - hardly any hanging around at all and enjoyed by all four of us - Me & Hub + boys aged 9 + 11. I have a dodgey knee but managed the steps ok.

Herded in like cattle when busy at the caves of drach. Much nicer experience at the caves of campenet (just outside Inca and only a 20min drive from Puerto Pollensa).
