Just had confirmation that Pollensa Wine Festival will be held on the 17/18 April next year.

Can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday!. Last year a choice of over 60 different wines in a great atmosphere.Follow this up with a late lunch at Cellar Moli and if you're still feeling energetic, a stroll back to the port down the old road that comes out at Llenaire.Can't wait

We did that too - apart from the walk - it was bus there & taxi back - & the market is on too if you go on the Sunday. A great day out.

Can't wait, in two weeks time will be wine tasting in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek South Africa looking forward to tatsing the Pinotage and Chocolate Block among others.

Do you need to buy tickets for the Wine Festival in advance or are they available on the door? This is the first time we have been there for the Festival and we would really love to be there.

You can get them at the door - expect to queue - last year they were about 4 euros if I remember rightly, and you get a glass to take in with you. There are water taps around for you to wash your glass out between tastings. Its a great few hours and I wish I was there this year!

Its a great event - however I prefer Saturday afternoon as Sunday there are tooooo many people there - doubtful about feeling energetic afterwards and walking back to PP - most people were staggering and giggling out of there and head for somewhere to eat fast. Hope everyone enjoys this event as much as I do - one to add to the calender.

The Cloisters is in the centre of Pollensa,close to the main square.There is a small square next to the Cloisters (the one with the big statue of a soldier!)
