Default Live Spanish guitar and singing

Tangofan if you want Spanish music and singing go to La Roca, owner Juan and his brother Manolo both play guitar and sing, it doesn't start until after 10pm but they are really good.

I think it depends on how busy they are, but it will be most nights at this time of year and definitely Friday/Saturday .

We have had good reports from others about here so I will definitely try and fit this one in next time. Generally it was true that in previous years there hasn't been much, but this year so far there has been a lot more Spanish music and dancing available, lets hope it continues.

Its fantastic - genuine spanish atmosphere at the weekends - anyone can join in with the palm clapping, tapping of feet or singing - everyone has a fun time in great relaxed family atmosphere. When Manolo starts to sing - wow, what a voice and then when joined by his brother and Sister in Law a real treat. The bonus is the food is fab!! True home cooking....Highly recommened. and the secret garden terrace is another bonus.
Maybe we could arrange a spanish evening - Forum get together with some tapas and vino for those that like the authentic Spain in this lovely venue.

We went to La Roca lst May - we just looked in and thought it looked to have a lovely courtyard setting at the back. (And it did!) As we got there quite early and didnt want to stay late - we were given a private 'concert' at our table! Just the guitarist and female singer (think she is the cook - it was a quiet night and we were th only people in We really enjoyed it as it was so unexpected

They do close for a few weeks in the winter usually in February, we love to go there to watch the Spanish football and they have outdoor heaters so us smokers have somewhere to go, sheltered from the elements.
