Hi Guys,

I'm under the impression that Puerto Pollensa is very laid back but having read that there are some more lively bars I was wondering how the PR situation is for bars and restaurants.

I'm very much a Tenerife veteran and they run riot over there. YOu cant go for 10 yeards without being pestered.

Whats PP like for this?

Hi Aeropairs
I cant say for this year yet, but certainly we have never come across them previously in PP, now Alcudia that’s a different story

None of that malarky in PP. Outside the big chinese on the Formentor they hand out menus but thats it. Thank God.

Thats exactly what I wanted to hear! I dont mind it in Tenerife as i get away with being a 'worker' which means discounted drinks and excemption from being grabbed by the PR's all the time.

Was a bit of that goin on in Cala D'Or but as the others have said not PP. The only pesterting that you get is from street musicians who do come into the restaurants with the cap at the end of their "performance". Not too bad though - I mean not pushy and some restaurants don't tolerate them at all. The most annoying thing is listening to "My Heart will go on" from Titanic played 4 million times on the violin.
By the end of a fortnight - heck 24 hours  it can get wearing!Eating away from the main square/ seafront puts paid to that.

Never seen any of this type of behaviour in PP. Now the Greasy mile in Alcudia is another story
