Hi Sharon,

We've been to Pollenca twice with friends who have kids. We mostly made our own entertainment during the day, with lilos and sandcastles at the gently shelving Pine Walk beach. At night, after dinner, we wandered around the Pine Walk area where there is often music, balloon / braid sellers etc, and sometimes Street entertainers or sand sculpture. We found children welcome at all the restaurants and some, like Tango's had a small dance floor which the girls took active part in! We also ventured into one of the Thomson's sites, The Playa Mar, which had live music, and children were actively encouraged to join in and dance / sing with the band etc. However their girls were quite young (4 & 5) and were quite happy with what the resort had to offer - I am not sure what's available for older kids... I'm sure some-one will be able to help! Have a great Holiday!

P.S. There's always the water park in nearby Alcudia

Default Entertainment

Hi,

The larger hotels offer entertainment which access is usuallly unrestricted as long as you buy drinks once in there.

The Pollensa Park has entertainment every night, from singers and hypnotists to line dancing/discos. There is always a big notice board showing what will be on for the week just inside the hotel.

There is a pool table inside for older kids to play with which always draws a crowd so friends will be made. The entertainment takes place outdoors and there are plenty of tables and chairs beside these there is a well lit park for younger children to play at. It is a well enclosed complex so children are very safe.

Enjoy your holiday !!
