Just to confirm, the price is 5 euros from the airport to Palma and the usual cost from Palma to PP, one thing is that the bus now goes straight to the new port bus stop, so if like us you are in Gotmer or Pinerat, I would get off at the roundabout by Habitat and walk down through to there which is shortly than walking back from the port

Depending on where in Pinaret or Gomar you are staying there is a new stop near to The Pollensa Park hotel.

I didn't stop there on the way to the port, I think it may only pickup from there on the way back to Palma, you could sit on the bus and wait till it left again, but that could be a while I think!

Does anyone know where we are with buses from the airport to PP? I was speaking to someone who works in PP and he reckoned that the bus from the airport ran along the front of PP and does a stop there. Is that right?

Only I have some family coming out in July when I'm there and don't really want to drive to the airport, but happy to collect from Alcudia. They arrive at 9pm. Any help would be appreciated?

There is no direct bus from the airport to PP, only Alcudia.

Treat them to a taxi and you can enjoy your vino.

I've just been informed that they are arriving earlier that stated, so no problems now.

To be fair, when we used it last year, just as we got off the bus in Alcudia, the bus along to Puerto Pollensa was just pulling up. I thought it was really easy. A bargain too!

The Aerotib bus services from the airport to resort began to operate in May last year. Following a somewhat stuttering start, they are now proving to be more popular. Between May and the end of August, there were 145,734 passengers on the four routes, an increase of almost 26% compared with last year.

There is no doubting the fact that the bus services offer a more economic way of travelling to resorts than taxis. Getting to Cala Millor by taxi can cost 90 euros; the bus costs one-ninth of this - ten euros.

While the buses are principally for tourists, they do also provide a service to residents, people who themselves are flying back to Majorca or who simply use them as a means of transport. Depending on the route, the buses stop in certain interior parts of the island.

Still no direct bus to P though. The L340 from Palma is great but getting out of the airport on a busy #1 bus with a suitcase is a pain. Cant wait for the tram to get built.
