Default Walking Books Updated!

Hi all,

I've just updated our section of Tours & Walking Books as I'm afraid some were out of date. There are newly updated versions of the famous 'Landscapes' guide and 'Walk & Eat' from Sunflower Books. Both look really interesting as they include car tours and excursions as well as walks with recommendations of places to eat as well.

There are now 2 books devoted to GR221 Dry Stone Route which crosses the island (you can do it in stages!) and it is also covered in the new Landscape guide now called 'Mallorca: Car Tours and Walks'.

Several of these books now have the Amazon 'Look Inside' feature so that you can Look before you Buy. Do have a look and let us know if you have any favourites.

I'm ordering a couple to take out with us in 2 weeks time!

I warn you that I may only read them & not actually do the WALKS especially end June - perhaps will try a car excursion & the suggested 'Eats'.

I've just received my copies of the Landscapes guide & Walk & Eat. The Walk & Eat Guide is the more readable of the two with lovely descriptions, photos, walks, restaurants & recipes for dishes such as Lomo Con Col, Arroz Brut, coca, Almond Cake, Tumbet etc. etc. so well worth buying - see puertopollensa.com/Books2.html#walking even if you don't do any walking!
