Excellent little story.......
I gather that the first 32 that left went on to O'Lume and had a great night.

Good one Pescador. Yes it was either O'Lume or Bar Coral. As you might know, I am not old enough to go to Bar Coral yet.

As others have exclaimed, 'tis indeed a brilliant and incisive commentary; hopefully it will be absorbed, appreciated and pondered by its target readership...

Very entertaining and very observant Steve but dare I say that maybe you need to get out a bit more and not spend so much time reading posts on this forum. At least you have some more people who are willing to be your friend now. If all else fails Ill be your friend too. Meanwhile, keep us entertained with these fun stories. Next topic????

Your going to some lenghts to have a pop at O' lume, has Jaime ever tried to poison you? That's countless posts critising the same restaurant. Something not right here!

I didn't get that impression Smiddy, which part was that in? I'm pretty sure Jaime would take it all in good humour anyway, as no publicity is bad publicity as they say!

I have to agree with Belladonna, I really didn't feel that it was directed at O'Lume at all; rather, it was a sharp but good-natured jab at the folk who may have become a little tunnel-visioned in their approach to eating out/socialising in the Port...

I thought long and hard about posting my story as I really didn't want to upset or annoy anybody, just to amuse them. However the majority seem to have enjoyed it and I thank them for their kind comments.

To russets...I should be delighted to be your friend.

To ohjay...Yes it took me a long time to post as I am a one-fingered typist.

To JMD40...I understand your comments about getting out more but I'm sure you appreciate that I had to get out to obtain research for my story.

To Smiddy...Please tell me at what point in the story that I named or referred to Restaurant O'Lume?

Well observed and well researched. I sensed it was written to amuse not offend and I am sure almost everyone saw it that way - at the end of the day if we cant laugh at oursleves whats the point......Keep getting out and researching and hope you find some more friends along the way.... if not I am still willing to be your friend....
