Default The Codfather

Not heard much about the 'Codfather' this year. I'm curious how people have found the new location, menu and prices.

Thumbs up

Hiya WW...

Been over twice this year to the Port, & going over again in October (lucky enough)...& it's a family tradition that we always go into the Codfather on the 1st night of the holiday....They have done a really nice job of the new premises, so different from the old one on the edge of the Square....It's much more plusher than the old premises, but it has not lost any of it's happy atmosphere....Marissa & Georgia (hope I spelt that correct), make you feel very welcome when you go in, & the service is nice & sharp, but he girls always make time to have a chat with you.......Nick is very keen to talk & hear what you have to say as regards old/new Codfather....The food is cooked as nice as ever, & sometimes although myself & my better half, + lots of other forum users really love & enjoy Mallorcan cuisine, it is nice sometimes to return to good old fashioned fish & chips served with a smile & a nice pint of lager, prices have increased a bit, but that is offset by the comfortable surroundings, decent food & a nice atmosphere.....

Chhers.....

Default the codfather

I can vouch that the Codfather is nicer than the old place...there is a lovely covered terrace out the back, plenty of room and the food is always cooked to perfection....the ladies always make you welcome and Nick is always ready to say hello despite always being so busy....can't quite get my head round the fact you can have a swift half while waiting for your take a away!!

Went there in July and had a take away and eat it on the beach as the moon was reflecting on the sea sitting on a sun bed. The fish and chips were great and the new place is really nice.
