Restaurants & Bars/Cafes open All Winter 2008

I'm starting this new thread on request as I'm often asked which places are actually going stay open this Winter. Some are still open now but may close in January.

So if you know of places that really are open all year, please post here.

As a starter I've been assured that both

Stay - see Restaurant Stay
O Lume - see O Lume

will be open.

Any others? & do say whether in the Port or the town.

Cafe/bar Neptuno in the port is open all year.

Restaurants open allyear

We've always found the restaurant in the Royal Yacht Club in Puerto Pollensa open all year. you don't need to be a member to go there and the menu is very good now.

Ikebana is open through the winter except for April 2009 and i have been told the El Ancla is also open but will close for a while in February 2009.

I know that Can Picateo, on the front next to Olivero's, stays open all winter as we spoke to the owner Miguel the other night. Their food is always excellent and tapas absolutely fabulous. Many, many locals use this bar both in the winter and summer and the service and friendliness is great.

No they aren't doing Xmas dinner, but say they are open 11:00 - 15:00hrs on Xmas day for pre-dinner drinks, and then re-open at 19:00hrs for after dinner drinks...

Have to say it is pretty nice in here, and Kevin gave me all the help I needed to get connected to the WiFi...

Apart from the above, I think these restaurant's should be open throughout the winter break as well.

However, please check after you arrive in order to save any disappointment and please don't blame me if you find any of them closed

Hells Kitchen is open all winter with entertainment on Friday nights and a very good set menu.

Tango Ca Vostra will be open all year I am pretty certain. They are definitely open on Christmas Day.

Hi Pinewalkstroll,

I hate to nit pick but Pascolino is not on the Pine Walk - Paseij Vora Mar,

but it is on Paseo Anglida Camarasa, which is now pedestrianised. Vora Mar is the path which starts at the new Tex Mex and passes Hostel Bahia etc.

O' Lume open all winter, big log fire,lovely food/service. You know it makes sense!

Los Zarzales is open all year (clsed Tuesday in Winter) & will be offering a Xmas & New Year Menu -

Can Balache Cafe - Bar next door to Zarzales is also open through the winter. wed,fri sat & sun

Nico's winter opening

I walked past Nico's in the market square and notice they are open for winter,closed Monday and Tuesday. Open from 1-3 and again in the evening.
