R bar closing?

Has anybody noticed if reports are true and the R Bar is closing. Does anybody know who is taking over. I hope the PP mafia leave it alone and dont open any more tex mex or ausie type bars. GPM

I know Robin was wanting to sell up last year as he had talks with my daughter about her taking over the lease. She was very interested but couldn´t afford it!

I´m affraid the pp mafia has taken control. Not sure what it will be yet, maybe New Zealand ! or Tequilla bar. But I also hear that they are taking the Codfather aswell, who are moving to the old part of the Ivy garden.

R bar will be missed !!!

The PP Mafia must own all of that street now. With the exception of Centric and Manduca I am sure they are all owned by the same people as all the menus are the same regardless of venue.

was talking to mr codfather, he tells me the neptuno has been round measuring up in the codfather building as the owner of the neptuno building wants to demolish it.The R bar is closed and all the seating ect has been ripped out, so looks like 2 new bars/restaurants next season.I for one won,t miss the R bar.
