Could anyone tell me if the Balaixia is still open

No, as far as I know, Balaixa is closed. There was some talk of it being up for let but I haven't heard of the restaurant re-opening. I believe Bistro Balaixa is still open in Cala San Vicente and any reviews would be very welcome.

Thanks for the info about Balaixia, i was sorry to hear that it has closed we have spent many a happy evening there. I wonder what happened?

Hi purpleboots

I don't know for certain but I think the lease came to an end. I then heard that Arnie and Mandy were running somewhere on mainland Spain but don't know for sure.

We had two great meals there and the place was always busy, but we did notice how close the new Syp supermarket was to the grounds last year when we were over.
