No, Kenny isn't working anywhere yet and Maureen is hosting in Osteria No 15 in the evenings.

I hope the opening night went well for them, never made it when it was the previous owners, but looking at the pictures it looks lovely with a great garden out the back, will have to try it when we come over, does anyone know what the menu is like?
I think the opening night is Saturday not yesterday!!

The opening party will be held tomorrow from 6pm. Beer & wine will be on the house for the first hour and there will be tasters of the menu brought round to the guests. Cacho will provide the music .

We went to No31 for dinner last night and were very impressed. Kevin and Siobhan have obviously done their homework, they are great hosts and pay a lot of attention to detail, there is a comfy seating area to have drinks, it's so nice to have table cloths linen napkins also the lighting and the background music makes for a romantic atmosphere.

On to the food, the menu is quite small but that's not a bad thing, there are 6 starters, 3 dishes that you can have as either a starter or a main course and 5 mains to choose from. We were given bread, olives and alioli then i had the Camembert Frito and Chicken Cazador, Colin had the Spanish Sliders and Lamb Confit all beautifully cooked and presented. We also had pre-dinner drinks and a bottle of house white which was really good and only 10.50€, the bill was 60€.

The terrace at the back is a lovely peaceful area to sit and dine or just drink and our hosts and Alex the waiter were all very attentive without being intrusive and made us feel very welcome, we also got to meet the chef who is Welsh.

So all in all a fantastic evening and we will definitely be going back especially as it's only 100 meters from home

If you turn into Vicenc Buades from Joan XX111 it's just along from Hiper Centro on the left hand side .

Fantastic, thanks Sparky, sounds lovely. Just up the road from our house, too! Walking distance is always a good shout with house wine at 10.50 euros a bottle!
