Sorry to read Tango has closed down.

We were in Tango in September and as usual had a very pleasurable lunch.

We will miss Manolo, his whistling and professional manner.

Best wishes to whoever takes over the restaurant.

So sorry to read of the closure of Tango. we have been going to PP for approx. 30 years and have always gone to Tango, usually on over first night. Always had excellent food and service. One particular memory was on our 25th wedding anniversary, we had been to what was considered a more upmarket restaurant for our anniversary meal, the food was ok but the atmosphere and service not up to scratch. We went for a nightcap to Tango when it was opposite Mulligans and sat outside, Manolo came and sat at the next table for an end of evening drink and asked how our evening went, I explained it wasn't as good as we had hoped for, within a couple of minutes he arrived with a small bottle of cava and 2 glasses and said with my compliments. It probably cost him no more than a couple of euros but it made our evening. What a gentleman. He will be missed. We hope he has a long and happy retirement with the grand children.

Seriously I'm sad to here of Tangos closure. First went there when it was on the edge of the square. Brilliant food service and staff. Especially got along with Louis who I still see having a drink in Manolos.

The reason we have been going to PP since 1987 is to spend most of our evenings at Manolos.........first in the tapas bar he ran with Vicente.......then Tangos. I am so gutted its an end to an era. I thought Marcos would take over one day, he is a chip off the old block, though he has his lovely twin girls now. Oh no

Are the premises empty at the moment?

Such a shame! It was the only place in the Port in August that could accommodate our large party of 25 (many of them children) and do it with a warm welcome and good humour!

I'll miss it.

C'an Josep would easily accommodate you all. They do weddings for much bigger numbers. Josep and his team will look after you really well.

We bumped into him earlier this year and he told us he was working at a hotel in Alcudia. He seemed happy with everything. I think he has a bit more time to himself now.
