Cant help you with the restaurants but I would just book it if you can

We visit for New year every year usually leaving home the day after boxing day, last year the weather was exceptional sunny the whole way through and around 20 degrees. We spent time every day at Stay if it was just for a coffee, a snack or for the full lunch menu, it is such a lovely setting. The amount of restaurants open does seem to have dwindled over the last couple of years but there are still more than enough places open for a week. We tend to stay in Pollensa rather than the Port but visit both, more bars along the front were open last year than in previous years yet a few of the restaurants are no longer staying open. La Lonja and Can Cuarassa no longer open have not done so for the last few years, but Can Josep was open, Yacht club, Stay obviously and I think Jokers was open last year if not them the one next door (cannot remember name). Some which were advertised as open in winter were not open when we got there, so not sure if they just closed for Christmas week. Several places in the back streets were open and again several places in Pollensa town.

Usually in the Port at the very least there is Stay, Cafe 1919, Marina Cafe, El Casinet, Pascalino, Hibiscus, Casa Vila, C'an Josep & Los Zarzales to name but a few.
