Whilst staying for the first time this year in the pinewalk end of town at the Pollensamar apartments we discovered a great little cafe/ restaurant Formentor stores.
The shop is well stocked with all the usual essentials and was just a few mins walk from the apartments.
We had many breakfasts, lunches, afternoon coffees and it also does meals and takeaway, and the staff are lovely .

Here is a sample of what we had-
Breakfast - pastry/croissant , coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice 4.50 euro.
bacon sandwich, fresh orange juice, coffee 6.00 euro.
Take away - Spag bolognese with garlic bread, half roast chicken with homemade chips and salad , four cheese pizza with chips and salad and 2 delicious fresh squeezed orange juice and a chocolate milk while we waited for our food . Good quality and only 35 euro for everything !
Loved it, Jat

We have used this place for groceries many times over the years as we usually stay up that end of the resort. Last year we were told by the lady who we rented the apt. from that it now does lovely meals but didn't get round to trying it but this year it was a godsend as the weather was so warm and humid we really didn't feel like walking into town every night, in fact we used it four nights out of our eight and all our meals were delicious. Sea Bass, spaghetti with huge juicy prawns, pastas, tapas...(one of the best tumbets) was just some of our choices. Their red and white local house wine was very reasonably priced and very nice it was too. Flamenco musicians created a lovely atmosphere one evening and the view of the sun going down over the mountains was just perfect. A stroll to the Illa D'Or for a nightcap finished off perfect evenings.

Glad you loved it too Jat
