Thank you for that PollensaToni .

Very good advice re booking, even if they say they are open, sometimes if it's really quiet some of them close early or don't open at all if they don't have any bookings .

Absolutely right Sparky. For example, Gulio at Cantonet tells me his cut-off time is 930pm - if no punters it's an early night.
I should also mention that there has been some intriguing activity in recent weeks in Pollensa on Calle de Cecili Metel. Not only do we have an enormous new fruit shop (this takes our greengrocers to at least 47 (semi-joke)) but intriguingly for this page a quite sophisticated (by Pollensa standards) new bar/restaurant which has just opened. I will do a reccy when I am in town over xmas/NY and update then as it was certainly open in early December.

Nice one Sparky. I am staggering distance back from the Old Town, via the odd Torrent which this time of year can be dangerous!
Sorry Stevo66 you are right - it's now Moixet of course. Showing my age...
Tannan has a Facebook page for those interested.

I prefer to think of Sparky rather as "a sparkling light" that keeps PP flickering in our hearts when absent.

Thank you

Merry Christmas everyone

Font del Gall is open, and they said they were staying open from now on. Had an excellent meal there earlier in the week.
