Default Dining out in Pollensa Old Town

It is essential to book in advance! Didn't manage to get into any of the wonderful looking ones, ended up at La Piazetta in the second square at the bottom of the steps, had actually a reasonable meal (we mixed up some starters to make tapas, and I think I had duck after), boys had pasta which neither of them finished, and we were totally plagued with out of control children running around the place, swinging off our parasol, knocking chairs, shouting.... not Brits, well not all of them, but not our kind of scene at all so we even left about a third of a bottle of wine in our hurry to leave, had a very pleasant coffee and amoretto inside the bar of the other little place in the other corner.
Lovely place Pollensa, nice shops, bars, winding medieval streets with elegant almost Georgian architecture, very atmospheric, definitely worth a visit or two, but book your dinner!

Hi Penny

It's a shame you didn't manage to get into any of the restaurants in Pollensa as some of them are fab!

Must remember that though when we go in August! I will be booking my favourites!

Glad you had such a good time,
Jane

Smile Take your list!

Hi Penny

Don't do as we did when you go back to Pollensa Old Town.

We asked for recommendations on PP.com, copied and pasted them in to a word document, printed it off - and left it on our computer desk in blighty!

I could have screamed! We still found most of the eateries that were recommended, as my bathroom scales are now testiment to!

Cheers

Nicky
