Alcudia market has sprouted a roof over half of it. Not sure whether the other half will be done, but it is a very big improvement. The roof is quite high so it should give good protection against the heat as well as the rain. A lot of the stalls have changed position so you need to hunt for your favourites. Market days are Tuesday and Sunday.

I was wrong. We went there today and there was no sign of a roof. No idea what happened.

The Port of Alcudia is to have it's own weekly market but it has not been decided what day it will be held on.

The new market in the port will start on 6 April. It will be held every Friday throughout the year between 08:00 and 14:00 in Plaça cas Vicari, next to the primary school between C/ Mare de Déu del Carme and 24 Febrer.
