Default Wheelchair adapted cars.

Hi I am new to your forum so please excuse any mistakes I make. Firstly I love Mallorca and have had various apts and now a villa in north Mallorca.
Our son due to a road traffic accident is a full time wheelchair user. In the UK we use an adapted car so we can wheel him into it.
We have searched over the years to find a car hire company who can help us. No luck so far. Do you know of any hire companies that can help?
We still manage but we have to lift him into the car and stow away the wheelchair.

I can see from the lack of response that there are no adapted cars for hire. Pity.
If anyone has contacts would be very grateful. x

Sorry you haven't had any response Suzy. I suppose you have done the obvious and checked with a few car rental companies.

I wish you luck and now you have pushed your post to the front of the list again hopefully someone will read and be able to help you.
Good luck.

I have tried various sites for you but can find nothing - sorry. Someone may have had personal knowledge and be able to help, fingers crossed.

Have found a site that favie found in a previous thread. It does not say that they actually hire out, just that they have the facilities to do the transport, as I suspect many other sites do. But it maybe worth contacting them direct to see if they hire out or if they have knowledge of where to do so.

Hi a few weeks ago I trawled all the car hire companies that advertise on this site in order to try to find an alternative to record ........... I am sure that one of them had a wheelchair adapted car on offer because I remember noticing it

I have just had a look at the usual ones .... carjet/aurigacrown /sizt and it isn't any of those but if you have the time to trawl through them you may well find which one it was

Sorry that I can't remember which one it was

Hi Suzy, I have just received an email from Alicia who runs the Zarza taxi firm in PP. She says that there are two wheelchair adapted cars operating in the Port and if you send her an email she can book one for you. Hope this helps
